Privacy
Your data, in plain words
This policy covers what we collect, why, and how fast it goes away. It is written to be read, not to hide behind.
filefreaks is operated by Media International, based in Delhi, India. This policy explains how we handle the files you process and the limited data the site itself collects.
Files you upload
Files are encrypted on upload over TLS 1.3 and processed on our servers. On the free tier they are deleted within 2 hours. We do not read their content, train on them, or share them with third parties.
Analytics
We use Plausible for analytics. It is privacy-first and sets no cookies. It does not track you across sites and does not collect personal information. We see aggregate counts like page views, not individual profiles.
What we collect
- File data: only for as long as needed to process it, then deleted as above.
- Usage counts: aggregate, cookie-free, through Plausible.
- Contact details: only if you email us or join a waitlist, and only to reply.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not build advertising profiles.
- We do not set tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you and ask us to delete it. Because files are deleted within 2 hours on the free tier, there is usually nothing to remove. For anything else, use the contact route in the trust center.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects your files or your rights, we note it in the changelog and update the date on this page.
Plain-language summary
We process your file, delete it within 2 hours on free, count page views without cookies, and never sell your data. That is the whole shape of it.
